Raw food diet 30 day trial - Day 26

Can't believe it, getting really close to the end of the trial. If I can do it, anyone can. Feeling a little bit bit down today, I didn't crave any assistance from food though which was a nice change. Relative to the amount of time I've been eating a standard western diet, it's seems so quick that we can adapt to a new way of eating and to break old habits. I think it's pretty amazing, it's definately not easy and it takes a lot of willpower at times but it's definately do-able. I don't think I've crossed all of the hurdles that will try and know me off this path, I think this will take a long time but I'm on the way.

Weight loss

I've dropped 0.4lbs to 130.2lbs, net weight loss is 12.6lbs in 26 days.

What I've eaten today

Breakfast

Smoothie - 100g of strawberries, 60g of blueberries, 100g of celery and 500g of banana

Lunch

350g of mango

Dinner

1. Salad - 300g of lettuce, 50g of red pepper, 100g of pineapple and 20g of almonds

2. 300g of pineapple and 300g of oranges

Raw food diet summary

I'm enjoying the diet at the moment and I look forward to whatever yummy fruit I'm about to eat. Still not to keen on salads but I'm much happier eating them than when I started. It just takes practice to find out what you like.

My totals for the raw food diet today were as follows: Calories 1281, Fibre 45g, Carbohydrates 301g, Protein 22g and Fats 15g.

My percentage totals for the raw food diet were: Carbohydrates 85% Protein 9% and Fat 6%.
