Raw food diet 30 day trial - Day 28

Now that I'm getting near to the end of the trial I've been thinking a lot about what I'm going to eat when the trial ends. I don't think I'd be able to go back to eating cooked food entirely as I want to continue to loose weight and and I want to improve my lifestyle. This way of eating makes sense to me, although I don't feel a ny different but as I've mentioned I think that this is down to many factors such as lack of sleep and exercise. I feel that one day I will eat 100% raw but I'm not quite ready for that as of yet. The hardest part for me is the social aspect, so I think I will eat just one cooked meal a week. I guess this will mean that I'm eating 85%-90% which is amazing for me.

The reality of it may obviously be very different, many years ago I did a 6 week detox and when I finished I was thinking that I couldn't imagine myself eating bread again. But the day after that trial I sitting in a cafe eating a sandwich LOL so we'll see what happens.

Weight loss

My weight has dropped by 1.2lbs to 131.4lbs, net weight loss 12.6lbs in 27 days.

300g of apples, 150g of celery, 200g of celery, 100g of spinach, 500g of carrots, 200g of lettuce & 50g of broccoli

Raw food diet summary

This is the first time I've had a green juice during the trial, it's a great way to consume a lot of vitamins and minerals in an easy way. It wasn't the best tasting juice I've ever had but it was OK. Nice that I won't need to eat a salad this evening. Yeah

My totals for the raw food diet today were as follows: Calories 1476, Fibre 58g, Carbohydrates 363g, Protein 30g and Fats 8g.

My percentage totals for the raw food diet were: Carbohydrates 89% Protein 7% and Fat 4%.
